Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I don't think I have any job connections that would be helpful, but would be happy to pass along tips on the area to a fellow Hoosier.

Thanks SirBrian and Lars. I thought there were a few of you around here that knew the area...

Anyway, while some type of urban planning gig would be ideal (I'll probably have to go to grad school for anything dealing with this), any type of potential job I could start out with would work (that doesn't require a specific degree or years of experience). I might have to have a talk with some you later on down the road...

When we went through this exercise a few months ago on the IU board, I recall being a little older than one of the fathers of this board, Jazen. So yes, I'm in the over 40 club with JK1967 and some of the other posters here. Before blowing me too much shit though, just remember that I can probably post you up, AND beat you off the dribble. :D I could be tAmazingHoosier's dad, but I'm not owning up to that without a DNA test.

I have to admit I'm old enough to want to chime in on the "most awesome party experience" threads with some sage advice about taking school seriously, but you younger guys probably hear enough of that at home.... :soap: Ok, can't resist one comment. I had a couple of high school friends who developed too much love for weed. They quit sports, and lost all of their motivation. Try to keep the partying under control, or you may live to regret it.

I barely remember IU winning the '76 title, but enjoyed the '81 title. I became an IU hater in the mid 80's and didn't start cheering for IU bball again until moving to Seattle and working with some A-hole Pac Ten fans in '90.

LIARS gets my vote as the most immature for one's age...

crveech, you are at Western Kentucky? I am currently at UALR down here in Little Rock. Let the Sun Belt smack talk begin. Hopefully we can meet you guys in the tournament and make up for the beatdown you handed us earlier this year.

I guess since I am on here I should go ahead introduce my self.
I am 27.
Grew up in Boonville, IN; moved to Little Rock with a friend when I was 19, got a job, ended up marrying an Arkansas girl, and had a couple kids, so now i am stuck here ;)
Currently, I am working on my BALA at the University of Ark-Little Rock, with the eventual goal of going to grad school, then teaching History at the College level.
