Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Normally I hate reading the chats from the so called college basketball "experts", but I found myself with a little extra time today, so I checked out Pat Forde's on ESPN. Early in the chat there was a question about top 10 programs and he mentioned IU and MSU among them. Then some fool responds with this question:

Quote:

Mike (Madison): How can Wisconsin not be in someone's top 10 programs over teams like MSU or IU.

Pat Forde: (3:02 PM ET ) Mike: Banners is a good place to start. So are Final Four appearances.

I about lost it. I don't normally care at all for Pat Forde, but that is a GREAT response. Silence the Badger faithful.

easy.

Sampson has multiple Big 12 titles, 11 straight 20+ win seasons, a final four, 12 NCAA appearances, 2 time national COY, won 75% at IU.

Porkchop has proven he can go 9-19 and get a contract extension, win 57% of his games at turdue and clean out a refridgerator.

Ummmmm.... You might want to wait and see what the NCAA says about that 75% winning percentage at IU.

Wow that is funny. I thought Purdue fans were supposed to be obsessed with IU but I see you on here everyday talking about Purdue as an IU fan. It looks like you are the one who is obsessed. Don't waste your time posting any argument back because I either know what it is going to be or it will be extremely ridiculous!

We are on an IU board so why are you posting about Purdue! Plus don't say you have never came over and bashed Purdue on their board. I respect the other posters and don't bash IU when they say respectable stuff but I think you bash Purdue on around 80% of your posts.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Umm, I believe it was UCLA, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, Connecticut, Michigan State, Indiana, Florida, in no particular order.

Didn't we beat Wisconsin for like 20 straight years back in the 70's and 80's?

EDIT- just looked it up.

We beat Wisconsin 33 straight times between 1979 and 1997
