Could someone explain to me why the guy, who thought Keady would be a good TV studio analyst, still has a fucking job! Keady is an incoherent, mummbling idiot as an analyst! |

I have to agree that he is not a great analyst, he is just not used to the camera being on him 24/7 |

Really? This considering he won a lot of games for you guys and really put you Purdue fans on the Map. Im not trying to start something, just wondering why you are so harsh. |

I think he means he's terrible at being an analyst, and he's a homer because he's "supposed" to be impartial when covering Big 10 basketball games, instead of drooling over the Boilers. At least that's the way I took it. |

I was at Purdue when he started. Keady put us on the map after Rose took us to the Final Four. He did great things for our program 'till the end when he left a mess for Painter. I'm not trying to be harsh, just honest. His skills as a studio analyst stink. The reason I call him a homer is he will constantly slip up and say "we" when referring to Purdue. I'm sure it's hard for him but he's got to do a better job of being impartial. |

Keady now picks Purdue to win the Big 10, Jim Jackson calls him a flip flopper for picking Wisconsin the other night. Hilarious. |

No doubt, Coach is a homer. Hell, he has been part of Purdue for decades now. A former player of his is coaching the program that he helped established, its just part of the territory. He is still in the Purdue family. He still has knowledge of the game, he is just partial to his team, almost to a fault. He is our version of Todd Leary, but not a complete dickwad and tool. Funny story, I was out at a bar and started talking to this lady that graduated from Purdue in the 80s. She told me that the daughter of Keady and his god awful looking wife is one of the most gorgeous women she has ever seen in her life, which to me is astonishing. We went on to talk about how unfathomable that two of the ugliest humans in the world could produce anything above hideous looking. She also graduated from the pharmacy program and married into a rich family. Tough life the young Keady has. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Of course. I was impressed with myself when I pulled that one out. Usually I go about 1 for 8 when making up my own shit. That happened to be a good IMO as I actually got some laughs. |
