Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

6 players attended -- not including bassett, ellis, or gordon

"Eric Gordon was invited but did not attend. Crean said later that he hoped to talk with Gordon and his family later today."

i'm thinking gordon is DEFINITELY going now..

Man, even if we are able to get Ebanks and Holloway to recommit, that's only 10 players on our roster.

Crean has a top 100 PG he could bring with him.

Be glad Crawford was there.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Basset and Ellis would be crazy to transfer. I bet they are having major regrets now. I am curious to see how Crean handles them.

I know Gordon will prob go to the league, but he still has yet to be developed. In all honesty, it would raise his stock to stay a year. No way it will happen though.

6 players...

Taber
Thomas
Holman
Crawford
McGee
Finkelmeier

Looks to me like Holloway (he will be here) and Roth could get serious minutes next year.

You have to feel happy for Roth and Pritchard...I especially feel happy for Pritchard. Hardworking homegrown kid that'll get a chance at big minutes early on.

Holman and Crawford were the only 2 players at Crean's press conference today. Pegram interviewed them after the presser and they said some very encouraging things in the audio.

Both said they would talk with their families about the situation over the weekend, but seemed very optimistic. They said Crean made a great first impression on them with his passion, energy, trust, and optimism. He "opened a lot of eyes" in the locker room this morning. Eli says the the thing the players need most right now is trust and stability.

(By the way, if you've never heard him speak, Eli Holman is a VERY well-spoken kid. I never would've thought in a hundred years he came from a rough background. I was legitimately impressed. )
