| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! If this is true, these guys have a rude awakening. They should not be welcomed back in Bloomington.....what a couple of babies. Do they really think they run Hoosier Nation? Wise up boys. "Eyewitness Sports reported earlier in the week that Point Guard Armon Bassett and Forward Jamarcus Ellis would not return next season after being dismissed from the team. Now both players tell Eyewitness Sports that they are willing to play under the new head coach, Tom Crean, under the condition that interim head coach Dan Dakich is not assistant coach." Full Article I would have to call bullshit if I was Crean. |

Didn't Dakich say that he himself was kicked off the team by Knight and then he begged him to let him back on the team and Knight took him back? I think Crean should give them some kind of pennance that they have to pay before they will be allowed back on the team (like running or something like that). That way he can see if they are actually committed to being part of the team or not. |

Yeah, Dakich did say that, but I guarantee he did not give the General any "conditions" that would be necessary for him to come back onto the team. The only "conditions" were probably that he would shut his freakin mouth and never talk back to coach again. |

To be honest with you, the more I think about this the more pissed I get. I think this has me more riled up than the whole Sampson debocle to begin with.....who the hell do Bassett & Ellis think they are, Lebron & Kobe? |

I totally agree. They should not make conditions on their return. If I were Crean, I would say, you made your bed now lie in it. The only other option is they come back on hands and knees, kissing or licking, Crean's and Dakich's shoes and really apologizing and doing what ever ex-interim coach Dakich sets up for them, even if it is 10,000 suicides, 10,000 pushups, and 10,000 times up and down the Assembly Hall steps. That are the only two options. Take it or leave it. :banghead: :gun: |

Couldn't agree more! F those guys. Second rate players trying to dictate policy and wanting certain conditions met before they honor us with their huge talents. BS. Hit the road children! :gun: |
