| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! Fuck you, nobody likes you! How about letting up on me in Fantasy Baseball? |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Jazen has a slim lead on me right now. He should be thanking GOD that he got Johan! If it wasn't for that, he would be drowning in a skunk. |

Yeah, our random hate threads are much better....haha, just kidding, but watch out for "unbiased" posts....don't let him drive you out of here. Glad to have you on board. |
![]() The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism. | |

Don't worry about posting, brand, if anyone throws shit at you, that probably means they like you. If you read through most of the threads, you can tell that UB is the most loved poster on this board. |

Hi, I am Greg and I am one of the new members. Originally I am from northern California, but as a kid Cal & Stanford never appealed to me despite growing up in a basketball family. I did my undergraduate work in Bloomington between 03’-05’ (after separating from the Navy) and the Hoosiers were my first consistent exposure to college basketball. I began graduate work at Georgetown in the fall of 05’ but still found myself following IU far more than the Hoyas. I think I fall into a fourth category Fallen does not mention. I am not a loyalist. The only memories I have of Bob Knight were the ones that managed to make it on ESPN highlights; but I think highly of him and always have. I am not an apologist. I was at IU during the Mike Davis era and never disliked the man, but thought his teams were undisciplined and generally underachievers. And I am certainly not a Sampsonite either. Kelvin Sampson’s hire did surprise me. Even in California where UCLA did so well for so long we consider IU (and Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas, North Carolina) more synonymous with Basketball than anything out west. Point being, I was surprised they hired someone who did not have what I considered the same basketball pedigree that IU has. I thought he was fundamentally better than Mike Davis, and I generally wanted IU to excel, therefore I supported him and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt before last fall. But I am happy he is no longer the coach and Tom Crean, at first glance, seems to inspire optimism for the future. Anyway, I will most likely post very little. I am not a native Hoosier and have less historical knowledge of IU basketball than most of you. But I am a big fan, have not missed watching a game of listening to it on the radio in five years. I enjoy reading most of the posts on this board and I hope to continue. |
