Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Are the Google Ads put up by Bri and Jaz, or are they invision's doing? Because Google Ads do provide a bit of revenue to the site operator - not that there's anything wrong with that.

It makes sense that invision is putting up the adds so they can provide a "free" board.

I can assure you neither one of us are making a penny off of this site. The sole intention was to get away from the lame ass ESPN board.

All we really wanted was a place where everyone could go to be themselves, and talk about college basketball or just sports in general. If anyone that comes here doesn't like freedom of speech, cursing, being able to post pics (whatever you want, we just ask that you post a warning), or GOD forbid smileys, you don't have to post, that's your choice.

With that said, we invite anyone that wants to post here. With the addition of avatars (that work) and signatures, the idea was to bring a more 'personal' approach to being a member and posting.

Hopefully we get more Big Ten schools and/or just anyone one that wants to post and talk about basketball, or whatever the fuck you want to talk about.

See? And I won't even get banned for that. :)

That's ok, Lars, I report myself periodically just to avoid the intense withdrawal effects from getting banned so many times over at ESPN.

My favorite word constriction was "a whole".

There would probably be a point if we actually banned people, but we don't. I've seen them in my inbox and just deleted them.

That button is worthless on this site.

The ones at the ESPN board just don't like to hear a differing opinion. They like the filtered, IU worshiping crap that the mods over there ensure. They got their panties up in a bunch when people like Fallen, Bri, or Jaz would point out blatant flaws in the IU basketball team and program.

I will disagree with a lot of people here (most of you actually, hahaha), but at least you don't mind hearing other opinions. Those fuckers can enjoy their board of 12 year olds and idiots.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

You are correct. He is one of those people. There are many just like him over there.
