All I'm saying is you may want to tone down the bashing of Painter because he has connections to Bruce Weber. There are a lot of worse people to be connected to right now, and Sampson is one of them. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

amen. the irony is that if someone told you in january that sampson would be in san antonio on the first weekend in april, it would have an entirely different meaning than it does now. Posted Image |

Sampson is the gift that will keep on giving. Next season, even with Crean as coach, that team will have Sampson's fingerprints all over it. |

INDIANA

Indiana wiped the slate clean of that cheating bastard and should have done it sooner. As much as other programs laughed and still want us to fail, the fact is, it's over. IU grabbed the bull by the balls and did what they should have done in 2000 instead of letting the players decide what was best and throwing us into the Donkey Era. Still unbelievable at times, but it did happen. It may be a couple of years, but Indiana is already on the right track and will be back to power status before you know it. |

I don't see what the big infatuation is with Bruce Weber being this horrible person. You are calling him scum because he called out an unethical coach for doing what a lot of coaches would consider unethical? The further Eric Gordon gets away from IU, the better its going to be for all of you. |

History is history. If you want to claim Knight's success as your own, you are going to have to claim Sampson's cheating and lying as your own. You can't just wipe it clean and act like everything is back to normal. Sampson left a scar on this program, just like Sutton left a scar on UK's program. No matter who you blame, Indiana University still employed a known cheater and it will be on Indiana University and its basketball program forever. |

bruce weber being scum has NOTHING to do with eric gordon, and EVERYTHING to do with the way his players represent him, and how he represents himself during games. that 'chest bump' was just one example. |

I just don't get your guys hatred for Webber, because he complained about Sampsons recruiting tactics (that many of you defended as sure as shit) that turned out to be right as a FUCKING CHEATER! And yet you still hate him? He was right Sampson fucking cheated to get Eric Gordon, and who knows who else. The fact is Eric Gordon did not allow the illini to find a replacement player he locked up the scholarship and even the night before he decided on IU his dad told Webber and the Ilini everything would be fine. It is just like Rich Rod and his shady tactics that has Tressel's panties up in a bunch as well as Tillers. Also in hindsight I will take MaCamey all day and 2x on Sundays over Gordon same with Webber of fucking Sanctions. |

Yes, the way 18 or 19 year old kids act is a representation of a 50 or 60 year old man. So Bill Lynch is a scum because Kellen Lewis is a crack head? |
