Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Kids got some potential. Will probably play more than DeAndrea next year...

He is pretty good at shooting open layups. Other than that, I don't really see a whole lot that stands out. He is going to have to make HUGE jumps athletically to be able to contribute much early. Him and Deandre would have a battle in a vertical contest.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Sometimes its good to have big bodies...for the sake of having big bodies. Sure you dont see this kid spinning and dunking on people like dj did in his high school videos, but im sure tom can hold his own.

Again, if tom could put up just 6 points a game, maybe we wouldnt be in such bad shape afterall next year. we'll be in rough shape, but theres been worse front lines. Taber may not be a defensive lockdown, but he is consistent and can hold his own for the most part (with the exception to athletic 4's). Also, he becomes not so reluctant to shoot those 12-15 footers, he could put up 6 or so too a game.

Dre will likely be the center of our post offensive attack (as much as it pains me to say that), but its true. The guy may have some flaws but can still put up 6 points a game.

Eli, is probably going to be the constant in this whole thing. His offensive game is raw, sure, but i can picture us playing a lot of zone with him right in the middle. Cant argue with a 7'7" wing span to cover some ground on the defensive end. His offense will come, maybe a couple points a game.

Now, that may seem like an extremely weak front line, but if each guy can just put up a few points a game, we'll be right where we were last year as far as ppg by our big guys (around 20-25).

He didn't show me anything. Hopefully he will be better than Mike Roberts.
