Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Why can't I search for a specific users posts anymore. in a previous life I used to be able to click on the users profile and list all their posts. That no longer works. Why is the man trying to keep us down?
Just stumbled on this functionality. Not sure if it just moved or if Bri restored it, but if you click on a user and mouse over "Profile options", a menu opens and you can pick "posts" and get a month-by-month list of all their posts. Kinda cool!

ok so i got the scoop...it is something that the average user can't change...it has to be an admin guy. I just emailed Jaz and he hooked it up.

hope that helps

this site is externally hosted using Zetaboards. Don't worry about running out of room. By the way, that would take a LOT of posts.

I'm pretty sure 1000 people could log on at once and it wouldn't lose functionality in the least bit.

Where I'd LOVE to be: on a self-hosted/coded site. Unfortunately, that would take a tremendous amount of time and effort by a lot of people. I have neither. So, OHBz is what we are going to have for a bit. Although, I want to do anything I can to make this place better for everyone. Suggestions are WELCOME!!

We should be able to @tag posters. Like this.

Hey @sirbrianwilson, change this board so we can @tag people and it will let them know when they've been tagged.

K Thnx.

Hmmm. I'm assuming some here don't have twitter and even if they did their handles might not be the same so I don't know how that would work. I was thinking it would show up here like when you get a private message a little box pops up.
