Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Obama is an joke.
He has all these ideas, but i haven't seen one agenda on how he proposes to implement them.

Ummmm.... Washington isn't very red. There are way too many liberals running around Seattle, but it's not near as bad as California.

If he would show a strategy, I might change my mind about him.

He's going to implement his policies by taxing rich, greedy business owners like you, Anarchy.

Why not. Everyone else has their hand out.....
During his Evansville speech, a 10 year old black girl was quoted as saying" Obama is gonna make sure I go to college and momma has the money to send me" <_<

Is this were it is going to go???? :D

Better yet, I'll just send my business to China or Russia. Then maybe I could afford my business.... :D

Great answers Eel. I'm not sure if I agree that we should legalize all drugs, but everything else sounds good to me. I didn't know you were such a conservative....who will you are are you supporting for the presidency?

I actually thinking of not voting, but I will probably vote for Ron Paul as a protest vote. I am disgusted with my choices. Oklahoma will go McCain, so any vote other than for McCain will be wasted.

Paul seems to line up with many of your views.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

that is a stupid poll.

Are women more sexist than men?

Is crackers and rednecks more racist than colored folk?

I'm sick of the racism and sexism discussion.  Let's talk about the issues that we need to get this country back on the right track. :soap:

NLA, I haven't seen you list any issues that make Obama the best candidate. He is black, which got him an amazing 92% of the NC black vote. 40% of white men voted for Obama, so I think we can finally stop talking about whites being racist, at least compared to blacks.

NLA, I've asked you to list some of the issues that make you an Obama supporter, and all I've heard is crickets.

I assumed your question was rhetorical...

well, let's see, I'll start with...

The economy
outsourcing jobs
the war in Iraq
the potential for another war against Iran
oil prices
the environment
tax breaks for Corporations for outsourcing our jobs
employment
Pro choice
healthcare
education
A CHANGE FROM THE STATUS QUO...

... someone else feel free to step in, I'm starting to feel like the Nage... :banghead:

NLA,
What is he going to do for the economy?
What is he going to do about oil prices?
What is he going to do for the environment?
What is he going to do for employment?
What is he going to do for education?
So you're in favor of redistrubution of wealth or socialism regarding healthcare?

besides bombing Iran, and staying in Iraq indefinitely,
what is McCain going to do with those other issues?

 typical Obama supporter answer. "I have no idea what my candidate will do, but I know he is going to make change and change is good, so let me just answer the question with a question about McCain". Unfortunately this tactic fools a lot of people into thinking it is an actual answer, then as a distraction they just hold up signs about change, faint, and scream for Obama. Not me ;)

Shouldn't you know where McCain stands on those issues? For you to actually make an informed decision and say,"Obama is the canidate for me," you would have to understand where McCain stood as well.

Or is this a way for you to respond to a question you can't answer?

and yes, I'm in favor of fighting against Insurance companies, Pharmacuetical companies and oil companies to put a stop to their obscene profits at the expense of our citizens. That does not make me a socialist.
