Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If I'm drinking to get drunk, its definitely an ice cold Bud Light. If its just a beer or two, then I'd go with one of the Sam Adams' or Leinenkugels. Stella Artois is pretty good also.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I drink Coors Light about 85% of the beer I drink. I like Michelob Light, and Heineken Light (but kind of expensive). I will experiment with a beer now and then, but I primarily stay with Coors Light. I do like Killen's too.

When it comes to cheap beer ( Bud, Coors, Miller, Busch, etc.) they all taste like water to me, so I always go with whatever is the cheapest.

Some of my favorites are Wexford, Groelsh, Pumpkin Head, Xania, Asahi... Actually now that I think about it, I probably have about 50 favorites. I don't really like any more than another, so I probably only buy the same 6-pack a few times every year.

If I'm spending money on beer, it's going to be good beer. I've been stuck on 312 as of late.

I'm a Cub fan and a Bud man. (Anyone remember those commercials?)

Hoegaarden is a favorite of mine in terms of imports. I'm always up for trying different ones, though.

Any beer with a label this cool has to be good.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

In terms of breweries I love Bell's and Dogfish Head. Maybe my favorite specific beer is the BBC Quarrymen Ale.

For everyday beer, it's Bud or Bud Light. I despise Miller Light with a level of hate reserved only for Hitler, chick flicks, and tiny poodles. As for real beer, most anything Sam Adams puts out is decent with their Octoberfest being one of my favorites. Fat Tire is great. Probably my favorite ever is Erdinger. Is a wheat beer from Germany, but I recently heard they lost their distributer in the States which makes me want to cry. Or physically harm babies. Either one works.

Guinness, of course! :chug:
Go to Dublin, drink a pint of Guinness at a pub or the Guinness factory. Its heaven.
