Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Guinness, of course! :chug:
Go to Dublin, drink a pint of Guinness at a pub or the Guinness factory. Its heaven.
I did that one year... was in Dublin for St.Patrick's day and toured the Guinness factory later in the week.

Then went to Cork (where my ancestors are from and relatives live... toured the Murphy's factory.

Guinness still gets my vote. A pint of Guinness is like a living work of art!

There seems to be a lot of fans of Blue Moon. That doesn't really surprise me, since it's almost as common as Budweiser. I'd just recommend to those that love Blue Moon to broaden their taste on more wheat ales. Blue Moon's good, but once you try some of the other rarer wheat ales, then I doubt you'll drink it again.

If your wife doesn't drink beer, have her try some of Michelob's Ultra fruit-infused beers.

I know, I know -- don't fruit the beer. They're a hell of a dinner or sitting on the porch on a hot day beer. They have Lime Cactus, Pomegranite Raspberry, and Tuscan Orange Grapefruit. Don't worry, they don't taste like wine coolers -- you get the fruit taste but you can definitely tell it's a beer.

I have horrible acid reflux, HF -- I've had attacks that have left me feeling for days afterward that someone took a baseball bat and hit me across the chest. Unfortunately, a lot of beers set it off.

I ain't as young as I used to be.

I forgot about you saying that before. In that case, I guess if your stomach can handle fruity beer it's definitely better than drinking wine coolers.
