Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Damn, I'm watching it now... a documentary interviewing permanently injured soldiers after they return home.

More amputee's in the Iraq war than since the civil war.
Traumatic Brain Injuries
PTSD, etc, etc

Pretty intense stuff. The true cost of this war is not just $$$$$.

This country had better damn well not abandon these men and women... and their families after this mess is over.

NLA I did watch that show last summer when it came out. James G did a great job. Did you notice the majority do not regret going to Iraq. Why can the American people not support the war they where disabled in.

The Dems abonded us on the battlefield so why would they not when we return

Yes the IED is a horrible horrible thing

Dem's abandoned our troops?
so, you think the Dem's are responsible for their injuries?

and do you think the Dem's are to blame because the VA is so fucked up?

and for the Walter Reid mess, etc etc?

I respect your passion, I just think your stance is a bit off base.

NLA The Dems backed this war Google it

The Dems controlled the Senate in 2002

it was 50 49 1 just like it is right now

The dems got the VT repub to go with them so it was 51-49 Sen Daschle was the Majority leader

THe Senate Vote was 77-23 to go into Iraq that is a majority of the Dems

2004 Howard the cockless dickless pussy Dean went antiwar and took a huge lead. 2004 Clark was for a new direction Gephardt supported the war Edwards voted for the war Kerry voted for the war. Dean did not because he was the fucking Gov of Vermont. He took the early lead this sound familiar from Internet fundraising from the anti-war left.

The Dems started shifting on the war they supported in both houses to send us into.

2006 they ran on a platform not for a new strategy like McCain had been peddling since 2003 they ran on surrender admitting defeat getting us out of Iraq. The dems sold the Military members out for power very simple.

Where have the Dems ever submitted a plan to win in Iraq. Joe lieberman supported McCain's that is one. Biden supported a three Iraq stategy that is two. Name another name one other Dem. harold Ford did but the dumb-asses in Tenn failed to elect him. They exist believe I have met a few they are in the house and Nancy keeps them very well hid in the back.

Tell me other than encourage the enemy to attack us more and deny funds for the MRAP vehicles what have the Dems done to improve the situation in Iraq????????

FACT: The Dems sold us out for power. Imagine being in hell for months and come home and the same assfucks that voted to send you there call it a failure. Harry Reid

Iraq is lost that is what i came home to. John Kerry go to school or you will find yourself in Iraq. Try to answer a Soldier you are taking out on patrol that has internet access and Iraq is called a failure. Your own Political leaders call the mission you are asking them to perform chaos disiator lost cause. Then you ask them to go out and lay it all on the line. That is good leadership that is supporting the troops?????

Look it up OCT 2006 was the 5th deadliest month hmmm because it was right before the election and the dems ran in 06 on a get out of Iraq platform. March 2004 Dem nomination fight April May June 2007 Big budget fight.

Funny the five of the six deadliest months correspond with politics

deadliest 11-04 because Bush the sellout himself waited until after the election to clear fallujah. You think both sides didn't play politics with Iraq. One man didn't he put America first his name John McCain he also sent his youngest son to Iraq

Yes i have issues because the politicians betrayed us

well, I found it interesting when polls showed that most families of the troops and most Vets wanted Ron Paul to be the Republican Candidate.

I keep hearing that and i do not know One Vet that supported Paul. The truth is as I understand it Paul raised the most money from the Military. That is such a misleading stat because most people on active duty do not donate to campaighns in the first place. I am sure some wives support Paul because they want their husband home. Alot of wives do not understand what it means to be a military spouse. They do understand what free housing and healthcare is but not the lifestyle a military person leads.
