Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

They shouldn't be showing up late, but I can't remember ever having a professor call me out on being late to a class, and I've done so plenty of times.
I've had classes where if I was 5 to 10 minutes late, I may as well just turn around and go home.
Well there have been times I've been late, and I've remembered that professor making comments about hating when people come in late, so I've opted just to skip. But I've managed to slip into the back of lecture halls many times unnoticed.

One of my Professors would give you an option if you showed up late. You could choose to come in and drop your grade by one letter, or you could go home. Obviously a lot of people would choose to go home normally, but to top it off, he didn't give out a paper syllabus. All of the test dates were reported about a week in advance in class, so you better hope that you have a friend in there.
