To me, he is the most exciting player in the NFL to watch. I absolutely love seeing him run over defensive players. Absolutely unbelievable. Here is the vid from one of his runs tonight where he left his cleat marks all over Laron Larndry's jersey. http://www.ihiphop.com/crackTv.hhc?videoId=8083 The most fun NFL video on the web featuring Brandon Jacobs running over the rest of the NFL. Just can't get enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofY1VaKdwhc |

Holy shitttttt Dreach. I respect backs that attack with their shoulders down... it's truly an amazing feeling owning someone from the offensive side of the ball. P.S. Just got word I'm going to the game Saturday night! I'm fuckin PUMPED! One of my friends has season tickets on the 40 yard line, row 15 I believe on IU's sideline. PU game was my first last year, now I get to see the boys in a NIGHT game run all over my dads Alma-mater =DDDD |

Heck of a running back, probably one of the more underrated backs in the league. He seems to enjoy contact which is a good thing, but if I were a Giants fan, I'd be a little worried about durability. Its hard to run like that in the NFL for a long time. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

VEry true, but I think he'll learn to avoid contact a little better a la Jerome Bettis. |

Bettis would be a great player for him to sort of mold his game after, or at least watch tape of. If Jacobs stays healthy and gets the carries, he'll have a very good career. |

Completely agree. Bettis was definitely a bruiser early in his career but he was at his most effective when he had a nice balance of alluding tackles and not just trying to break every tackle. Towards the end of hsi career he was like a frickin scat back, hardly ever took punishment. When Jacobs gets to that point of having a nice balance he will become force in the league. He's already one of the most productive running backs in the NFL, never loses yards. A handoff to Jacobs means the next down is shorter than then previous. That's a rare thing in this league. ...bettis was the shit, don't get me wrong...but eddie george never missed a start in his career with the titans, on his way to 10,000 yards...they have the exact same build and about the same running style...i'm telling you guys, jacobs is almost a clone of george... |

Walter Payton was different. There have been very few like him, if any at all. My cautionary tale to Brandon Jacobs would be Earl Campbell. That dude was a bad dude who just ran over people left and right. At age 50, Earl could barely walk. |

It seems like backs just don't last very long these days. Maybe the speed and strength of NFL players has reached the point where the impact forces are too high. |

Sanders was the greatest rusher. Running backs also have to block and catch. Barry was amazing when he had the ball but was not a great blocker. Greatest all around back NO greastest Rusher Yes |
