Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

How Blue Can You Get

Don't know how many of you ever saw the movie Blues Brothers 2000 but at the end of the movie, there is a battle of the bands which includes the "Louisiana Gator Boys". This was one of the greatest ensembles of musicians ever put on film. The cast includes BB King, Eric Clapton, Paul Schafer, Jimmy Vaughn, Lou Rawls, Wilson Picket, Jonny Lang, Gary US Bonds, Jeff Baxter, Taj Mahal, Koko Taylor, Travis Tritt, Isaac Hayes, Bo Diddly, Dr. John, Billy Preston, Clarence Clemons, and Steve Winwood. The movie is very intertaining with the old Blues Brothers Band which includes, Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman, Blue Lou Marini, Matt Guitar Murphy, Donald Duck Dunn, Steve Cropper and Willie Hall. If you get the chance, check it out.

If you do decide to watch this movie to see the band at the end, I'd suggest just fast forwarding through the rest of the movie. Better yet, maybe just listen to the soundtrack. There may be some more good music mixed in along the way, but it's not worth suffering through the whole movie to hear it.

The original Blues Brothers is one of my all time favorite movies, but it was all I could do to keep from walking out of the theater during this disaster, and I've never done that before for any movie. It was a horrible idea to even attempt to make a sequel without John Belushi, bordering on blasphemous if you ask me.

If you haven't seen it, the closest thing I can think of to compare it to is Caddyshack 2(no Ted Knight, no Rodney Dangerfield, no Bill Murray, no funny)...yeah, it was that bad.
