Yeah, Kinnick Stadium has never treated us well. He seems like such a nice guy that I've given him a pass, especially since he plays for my favorite pro team now. The way he acts on a football field pretty refreshing to me, as its not in line with either the cocky player or way too serious, I'm such a bad ass player. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Seriously, dc, I've forgiven him, and am glad to see him playing well for the Colts, my favorite AFC team. |

Speaking of ass kickings, I guess running down fast backs isn't Bob Sanders's Forte. |

If the Bears D stays healthy, and Orton continues to make good decisions, the Bears can play with the Colts. |

Manning looked timid last night and the Bears really didn't get that much pressure on him. I'm not a Bears fan, but I met my fiance in Chicago and she's a diehard fan. I've always liked Orton. He may suck, but he hardly ever loses. They never should have put Rexy back in....or Griese for that matter. It's was almost funny to see Orton always go something like 9/23 for 86 yards and the Bears win 17-3. |

He may suck, but he hardly ever loses. That's a nice succinct way to sum up Orton. Us Purdue fans are still upset about our '04 meltdown, almost as disappointed as you guys are about last year's bball season. And we didn't break NCAA rules, get rid of all of our coaches, and have all of our players quit, but still you guys can appreciate how bad that season hurt... I was one of the early Gross Rexman haters, and couldn't believe how horrible he could be. Good god, I still can't believe Lovey didn't sack his worthless ass... Orton put up decent numbers last night, good enough to help the Bears win the NFC Central this year. Congrats on marrying such a classy girl. She probably deserves better, but at least you like Orton. :D |

Give Orton a running game and time to throw and he is capable of taking the Bears to the playoffs. He was a fumble and an injury away from being a Heisman finalist and probably a late first/early second round pick. Alex Smith went first that draft and he is horrible, Rodgers is just getting a chance, Campbell has done nothing, Charlie Frye, Andrew Walter, and David Greene were also drafted ahead of him. He never got a chance because he was a fourth round pick and Grossman was a first round pick. The Bears did the same thing when they messed up the Thomas Jones/Cedric Benson situation. For whatever reason, they fall in love with their first round picks and give them way too many opportunities to fail. Unfortunately, the guy making more money and having a first round rep matters more in the NFL at times. |

more classic turdue fan excuses. give any QB a running game, time to throw, hell, throw in some all star receivers while you're at it. Paint Chips kid truly needs to read "Sports for Idiots" "one play away from being a Heisman"    i |
