Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

In Vincennes, we have:

Domino's
Papa John's
Pizza Hut
Bobe's

Most people here probably prefer the family owned Bobe's, I always seem to gravitate toward Pizza Hut.

Whenever I come back to Indiana I head straight to the Pizza King. Arnie's is essentially the same thing.

Papa John's for me for takeout. If I really want some good pizza though, I hit up a good local pizza place/sports bar called Gusanos. They make the best deep dish Chicago style pizza I have ever had. Granted I haven't ever been to Chicago, but still, the pizza is excellent.

Anyone had Papa Murphy's??? You go in and they make it for you but then you take it home and cook it. Supposedly realling good and cheap as hell, but I haven't had it yet. Any of you tried it???

Sure haven't obatskii. I'm about 40 minutes from Ft. Branch. I'll give it a shot this weekend.

In Mexico there are a few piza joints but it's mostly all Dominos, especially in the MEtro stops. In fact, just the other day I saw 2 Dominos stand facing each other about 20 feet away. It's SLIGHTLY rediculous. I don't mind though, you can get a personal pan pizza with one topping for 15 pesos (that's 1.50 american). Pretty damn good deal.

Mother Bear's is best in Bloomington, they have the Early Bird Special which is either a large or medium pizza and then the breadsticks and a 2 liter are free. have to get it before 6 though. Pizza Express is probably best when the late night drunk hunger strikes.

Here is Western NC and in the south I'm all about Mello Mushroom. Has anyone here had the mello before?

Back in the day at IU, we would order mello mushroom (changed to mad mushroom I think; I might have it backward). Pizza Express was good too. On campus I would go to Garcia's flying tomato. That was some awesome pizza! Order the Gutbuster, spice it to taste, and a 'personal' pitcher :chug: . They closed due to the building being torn down I think around '94. I loved that place.
