Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Back in the day at IU, we would order mello mushroom (changed to mad mushroom I think; I might have it backward). Pizza Express was good too. On campus I would go to Garcia's flying tomato. That was some awesome pizza! Order the Gutbuster, spice it to taste, and a 'personal' pitcher :chug: . They closed due to the building being torn down I think around '94. I loved that place.
was mellow mushroom, now mad mushroom..

I love Papa John's and they have the best deals for college students with buy 1 large, get one free for like $11. You ever had Sandy's in Ft. Branch Jaz???
Sure haven't obatskii. I'm about 40 minutes from Ft. Branch. I'll give it a shot this weekend.
It's not too shabby. Try the sweet red peppers on your pizza with whatever else you like. They are pretty damn good and not offered many other places that I know of.

Mother Bear's or Aver's usually. Crazy Aver's deal for $9.99 is much better than the Big (Ten) Bargain at Pizza Express. I got sick of Pizza Express after they raised their prices a dollar every year I've been here. I think it started at $9.99 or $10.99 when I was a freshman. Now it's up to like $14.99.

I've only had Greek's a few times but I did like that too. Not a fan of Domino's, or Papa John's really though.

it's ironic because if you read the back of the pizza express boxes, they basically started as a way to "stick it to the man" and its high pizza prices -- but yet now that they are the man, they're bumping up prices themselves.

as for aver's, it's a good price and they deliver really fast (usually less than 15 minutes!) but i think its second rate pizza.

Everytime I'm in Bloomington I order the Crazy Aver's deal. The breadsticks and cheese after a night of drinking are amazing.

Most other times I'm all about Papa John's, unless some other place has a great deal.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

When I'm visiting UB in Fort Wayne, I always go for a Pizza Hut taco pizza. It's a local franchise, and much better than your average run-of-the-mill Pizza Hut. UB likes to take me there for lunch because the buffet is something like $6.25 for adults, and 40 cents/year for kids, so he gets a good fill for $4-5 bucks. And I never make him pay me for gas money.

Some of the best places to get pizza in Evansville are Kipplee's, Turoni's, Roca Bar, Old Chicago, and Boston's.

If it's part of a chain, my favorite is Papa John's.

Down here in Bowling Green, I go to a sports bar called Froggie's. Mainly it's to get a beer since WKU is a dry campus.

Funny, but true. Pizza Hut in Fort Wayne (Coventry in particular) is actually much better than any other Pizza Hut I've ever had.

Anyone had Papa Murphy's??? You go in and they make it for you but then you take it home and cook it. Supposedly realling good and cheap as hell, but I haven't had it yet. Any of you tried it???
Papa Murphys is my favorite from Evansville.

Then Turoni's of course. Can't go wrong with Papa Johns either.

Sandy's in Ft. Branch probably is the best pizza I remember having. As far as chains go, I'd say definitely Pizza Hut.

I was about to say Turoni's is good in Evansville... then I thought about it, and realized I don't even remember what it tastes like. I normally go there for the beer and proximity to concerts.

Yeah well I hate you all right now. The pizza down here in Grenada SUCKS! Where the Hell is the damn sauce. They put red sauce on everything they cook here except the damn pizza. God how I miss some Dominos, Pizza Hut (taco pizza), Donatos. Oh the memories.
