Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I saw the interview and the skit and had no idea that Fey was just quoting Palin when it came to the bailout. That is fucking hilarious. SNL writers got a day off it looks like!

I thought the 1st Fey/Palin impression was funnier, but that was pretty good.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

It's clear that winning elections with the MSM on the Dems side is about as easy as getting a W at the Breslin Ass Rape Center. Fortunately, most Americans tend to agree with Repubs on things like limited government and religious freedon, and can overcome the odds stacked against them.

Democrats don't believe in religious freedom? That's funny, I don't ever recall a proposed amendment to the Constitution requiring all people to be of the same religion. Huh, learn somethin knew everyday I guess.

If Palin was a pro-abortion Muslim Democrat, the MSM would hail her as the second coming of Barrack. But since she's an anti-abortion Christian, her religious beliefs are ridiculed. It's very sad.

Right, because Obama has never been ridiculed for his religion or had lies spread about him like being a Muslim terrorist...oh wait.

Palin isn't ridiculed for her religion. She's ridiculed for wanting to instill her riligious beliefs into government. No one out there says Palin doesn't have the right to be an anti-abortion Christian. They just don't think her personal beliefs about abortion should be made into law.

In fact, this is basically the definition of religious freedom. If we made abortion illegal, and my religion allows abortion, then I would not be able to practice my religious beliefs. And that is why we keep religion out of government.

I'm not make a statement for or against abortion, but that's a ridiculous statement to make. I worship the Devil and one of the tenets of my faith is that I stab a small child in the eye once a week. Unfortunately, the government can't seem to separate itself from religion and has made a law against this. It's anti-American!

A person's religion is their decision and it's not a deal-breaker for a candidate. And I agree that whatever religion that is, its ideals shouldn't be instituted by the candidate into the government. Your example, however, is ludicrous to the point of absurdity.

When Palin makes a reference to God supporting our troops, or a religious man from Kenya lays his hands on her, she's considered a religious kook by the MSM and Democrats. At the same time, Obama believes that Jesus is his Lord and savior, hence believing in invisible men, but nobody says a thing. HUGE double standard.

And back to abortion, it is mainly a religious issue that divides the country in half. If some cities or states want to ban abortion, that's their right. The Feds shouldn't get involved.

You have literally nothing to base that on other than your BS claims that the media is bias for the left.
