Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I'm not desperate...this was a front page topic on Foxnews.com, and although I realize they are biased, it isn't like I am out there "digging it up". How is this desperate...it is very legit, especially considering obama's ties to Acorn.

This could definitely hurt Obama, but it's too early to tell how it will be utilized by the McCain camp.

people don't want to hear about the keating 5, william ayers, or the acorn group. they want to hear about how they're going to be able to make it through these tough economic times, how they're going to be able to afford college for their children, and how they're going to be able to afford gasoline.

with under 30 days until the election political banter and character attacks are irrelevant. these guys have been in the media eye for nearly 2 years now -- and 30 days likely won't change many people's perceptions. the american people, and especially undecided voters want to hear about the issues (and what direction we're going in) -- if only the two campaigns would acknowledge that..

Its not desperation to report voter fraud. I think its deplorable that ACORN continues to get tax dollars despite a history of fraudulent activities, and its a shame that voter fraud isn't taken seriously. It seems to be a popular idea that what we can't see doesn't exist, in regards to voter fraud. There were huge debates about Indiana's voter ID law which still disenfranchises noone, and creates a system where we can at least start to watch for voter fraud instead of a system where we have no way of telling anything about the credibility of voters.

I don't know of Obama's specific ties to ACORN, but most inner city democrats have some ties to it. Its a pet project of at least Barnie Frank. Its actual purpose is low income housing.

Obama represented Acord when they were trying to pressure banks to give more sub-prime loans.

ACORN

Associotion of Community organaziers for reform now

That is the organization Obama belonged to in he days before law school. The help with low income loans and are a very liberal political action group. Obama's campaighn has given them over $800,000 and they are the base of his graasrrots movement. They assist in GOTV (get out the vote) efforts and voter registration. They have been involved in voter fraud in past election.
