When it comes to discussing Purdue/IU athletics, UB is an assclown of epic proportions. Whenever somebody becomes completely fixated on loving one point of view (homerism) and hating the other (hater), they are going to be extremely biased 99% of the time when discussing that subject. It doesn't mean UB can't express reasonable, even useful opinions in other subject areas. Take NLA as an example. He's one of the biggest Republican/conservative haters around, but he can be perfectly reasonable when discussing sports. |

He says stupid things to get a rise out of people. There are times when I'm bored and play along. My guess is that he's a mid 30s male who works a boring 40 hour work week so while doing so, he comes onto here and dicks around for fun. I'm guessing in real life he is a normal Joe who you would see at the grocery store and not think twice about seeing him. He can be an idiot, but he is doing it on purpose to get attention and pass the time. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Haha, you the man UB. I just had a feeling you knew what you were talking about and I told a few of my buddies I think the market is going up crazy on Monday. They didn't believe me and called me up today to ask me how I knew that. I guess it's good to know people. |

Hey biasedHomer, your call of the 1000 market run up a couple of weeks ago would have been more helpful if you had mentioned traders should have used that sucker rally as an opportunity to sell more stock. Joe Sixpacks like yourself were incredibly naive to believe that was a bottom. |

you are such a fucking dickhead that has no clue about the markets and finance in general. assholes like yourself go through life playing monday morning QB. you are nothing short of a miserable cock sucker that being said - I called the IMMEDIATE market reaction. if you wanted a further out view I could have opined that as well. I gave the IMMEDIATE view and it was almost 1000% spot on. I could buy and sell you 5 times by noon - it is joe clock punches like yourself I laugh at. don't ever ever ask me for another market call because you not only do not deserve it - you can't afford to appropriately act upon it. now run along back to your local bank and inquire what 5 year CD's are paying - fuckface. |

not really - the market should be down 1000+. It will be by monday or Tuesday intraday. I am a little short but have a laundry list of buys ready 15-20% below current markets and will also be selling puts at fat premiums. |

I thought it was a heck of a call too. The only scary thing is that investors are telling me this happened in the Depression too. The market fluctuating by those large of margins. Scary! |

be ready to buy and buy heavily if we see dow 7200. it will be the rally of a generation off that kind of level - 2-3 thousand points in short order. Triple digit VIX is a screaming buy. now that the markets have almost margined out the hedge funds and have come to grip with Curious George as the next prez, the stimulus and printing pressing will now begin to feel felt over the next 3-6 months. This market weakness is almost a direct result of a strengthening dollar. that is artificial and temporary. Gold will see 1500 within 12-18 months and the commodity bubble will be reinflated. short view - November will be a very good month but be careful after Thanksgiving - Santa might be bringing heavy tax loss selling and a tapped out cosumer. |
