| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! That's the thing. You are basing a McCain victory on the assumption that like 15 polls, done by like 7 different organizations are ALL wrong, and your guys poll is the only one right. Yeah I guess you could be right, like the magic 8 ball says - signs point to no. |

That is true. But the Pew poll is still part of the Average, just like last week the +1 poll was a part of the average and was holding it down. The Pew poll will cycle out in the next couple days, and the numbers will get closer, but that still doesn't help you in the electoral college. |

And speaking of the EC, I assume you don't agree with my assesment of the race right now? Somehow, I think that you do, but you won't be able to admit to yourself until after Nov. 4th if I am right? |

Hog, I will be fine I have met many people along the trail and got to do many things i never believed would be possible. I have been onstage with Sen McCain and allowed to speak. I did an event with Trent Lott. I gave the pledge before an Sarah Palin event. I have met numerous local people in the triangle. I have met former Sec of the Navy and former National Security Advisors. I did an event with Bob Dole. I got a hug from E Dole. Support and belief in winning in Iraq has increased over 25% since I began this process. That was my motivation and Iraq is a safer place than it was in 2006. Oct 2006 over 100 combat deaths Oct 2008 knock on wood knock on wood less than 10 combat deaths. 12 total but I believe 5 where non combat related. The Army lost more Soldiers in the states in accidents than in Iraq so far in October. That is the progress I wanted to see in supporting Sen McCain. Soldiers are accomplishing the mission and are safer. I care about the Soldiers more than the election. I think Sen McCain is partily responsible for that and I like his policies better that is all. I also really expect him. |

I am officially worried about you, BG I met Bill Clinton in 1992. What does it matter whom you have shaken hands with or hugged? try "spell check" prior to your posts. |

What a great experience bg01, and you can sleep well knowing that you helped support a man who has supported policies that are resulting in a success for the US and Iraq. |

NLA, I was not aware this sight had spell check. I not only met them but a few I talk to weekly and they have taken me to dinner. I must admit it is nice to go into nice places they order for you and pick up the tab. I am very lucky few volunteers get treated like I have been. |

You might consider yourself very "Lucky" but from what I have read about you so far, you have worked damn hard and sacrificed quite a bit to be where you are. You have core convictions and you don't back down. They are "Lucky" to have you on their side.. |

Take out the high and the low and it is 5.14. Not sure what that encourages you. When Kerry lost a pretty close election in 2004, 3 out of the top ten polling organizations had Kerry on top. McCain is on top of none and even hand picking the best model has him down 3. And the worse news is that McCain's trailing status has forced him to a strategy of focusing on a state (PA) where only you think he has a shot to win while allowing Obama into markets that might have been tilted toward McCain before and have now shifted over the other way. |
