Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If this board is a reflection of what's going on around the country, and I think it is, it may be a very long night! We will see as the day goes on how it goes here but the early returns are hopeful. :chug:
I don't know about this board being indicitive of what is going to happen. I think it is indicitive of what will happen in the state of Indiana. As to what will happen nationwide, I think that remains to be seen.

unfortunately, this board isn't even close to indicative of the nation.....with the exception of NLA, we actually research the issues and know what we are voting for

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Seeing as how writing in Ron Paul would amount to nothing, I'm voting for the Libertarian Party, not Bob Barr. That being said, I'm voting Barr. :P

However, I certainly would have voted for him.

They do not allow write-in candidates in Oklahoma, and Libertarians were not on the ballot. I did not vote in the presidential election. The Republicans deserve to lose, and the Democrats do not deserve to win, thus my non vote.
You hit the nail on the head. I went ahead and wimped out and voted for the lesser of two evils in my opinion. McCain is to liberal for me but I had to give him the nod.
If you keep up your studies over at mises.org you'll probably come to regret this vote. :D

There you go with your lesser evil vote.

It's about time someone else voted Barr on here. I was getting lonely.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like I said though, I'm voting for the Libertarian Party, not for Barr, so I feel no remorse whatsoever. ^_^

I've lived in the same home for 20 years, and vote at the same polling place. I waited in line for over an hour (I waited until after 9am, to avoid the 9-5 voters out there)

I have never waited so long to cast my vote, and I must say, I have never been happier to wait in a line. :D

you are correct. But that book would certainly not have had an affect on my vote.
And, I am sure that the book didn't influence your vote either.
