out of the 20 players mentioned, not one player from the BT received a single vote. Not even Larry Bird Homely  So the BT preseason POY doesn't sniff a single vote. This further confirms why the Bt is so horrid in B-ball. Hell when Turdue is your supposed favorite, you know the league is way way way down. You know the BT commissioners are praying for IU to get back on top - they're the only school that draws national interest and respect. This league has not been worth a shit since 1993. |

That's great news, and improves our chances at a BT three-peat. |

2 final four teams in 2000 and three in the elite eight. But IU did lose in the first round by 20 to 11th seed Pepperdine. Two final four teams in '99 as well. LMAO at Biased_Homer Edited by BoilerVision, Nov 5 2008, 02:56 PM.

dummy. college b-ball is simply not very good as a whole because all the good players go pro early. I realize this does not effect a no-talent school like turdue but it cripples the good programs. who cares if a few BT teams make a final 4 here and there? '3 elite 8 teams in 2000' - just had to try to get a turdue mention in there didn;t ya? pathetic. the fact that the BT does not have a single player considered in the top 20 speaks volumes to how horrid the BT will be this year. that is the only reason turdue has a shot at winning it. you put this turdue team in a typical BT, they struggle to get an NCAA bid finishing 5th or worse. now where's Larry Bird Homely again????     |

Were these the same sportswriters who are know-nothing idiots earlier for making Purdue the league favorite and Hummel the preseason POY? Or is it different now that Purdue isn't mentioned? Your obsession and anger is sad. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

But you called them stupid and uneducated for their picks and that I shouldn't listen to what they say in regards to BT choices. Then you trumpet their AA picks as gospel. Can't have it both ways buddy. |

perhaps but it really really speaks volumes to how bad the BT is perceived - especially when turdue is supposedly the best team. face the facts, turdue is considered a joke by the rest of the nation. don't bother with a whining reply. |

But the media are a bunch of drones incapable of thinking for themselves, correct? So why take what they say as fact? You make yourself look like an idiot on a daily basis. |

I said don't bother with a whining reply and you did it anyways. Hey go cry to the guys who vote for this crap. I could care less. It does further reaffirm that Homely is an overrated slag. |

Hilarious that UB is now trying to say the Big Ten has been shit for the last sixteen years. He says this because IU has self-destructed each season (exc. '02), and is trying to spin it to where it's okay because the rest of the conferene has been lousy. :loser: |
