Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think everyone knows my opinion of Pres Bush. Do any of you think his administration can be mature enough to do a responible transition. I ask because Iran is getting silly again and Russia is starting to grumble. Bush and Obama will need to work together and the US will need to speak with one voice to prevent a total weakening of the nation from a security perspective.

I hope Bush is not so petty as to be an ass and Obama not so cocky not to work with Pres Bush.

I hope they can cooperate and go about this in the right way. However, it is hard for me to see them doing anything together based on their personalities.

I think they can work through this and transition okay. They maybe two of the biggest egos in politics right now. That may cause some friction.

Okay I edited my post and left my response, so no one else chimes in on my side note.

Bush is vowing that it will be a smooth transition. Of course believe that means you have to take Bush at his word.

supposedly the bush white house has already started to hand the keys over to the obama administration. according to reports, president-elect obama along with anyone he appoints will have access keys into the government computer system. Also, President Bush was on the record as saying he wants to make this transition as smooth as possible, and he wants to make sure that President Obama has all the tools to be successful. The Obama Family will be joining the Bush Family for dinner in the White House sometime this week..

Well maybe Bush can get leaving correct after destroying the Rep party and dividing a nation the least he could do is be polite leaving. I would be all for moving up the inauguration day to get Bush the fuck out of there.

I think the transition will be fine. Honestly, I think Bush will take a vacay and pretty much do whatever Obama asks because he really doesn't have a stake in it anymore.

I agree.

I think Bush saw what he did to his party (and America in general) when everybody asked him to stay away from the campaign. He just wants to get out of there now.

Kind of reminds me of giving a complete set of snap-on tools to a used car salesman, and then expecting him to change your transmission. God bless the USS of A (Socialistic States)

I think you'll see a smooth transition....we're talking an election that didn't involve Bush.
