I think an Elite Eight or Sweet 16 are the most likely outcomes. |

I think the sweet 16 is realistic. We are still young. Next year though my expectations will be much higher. |

I hope for a elite 8 trip. There are so many variables that go into that. The season is long and tiring. The pressure will be alot for them to handle but they have experience and talent. If they play within the team concept and as a unit they will be ok. I see us losing two non confernce games and 4 conference games. I see a BTT final appearance and a 3 seed out of them. |

Second weekend for sure. If we are in the Indy bracket, Final Four may be a possibility, but its all about what kind of matchup we get that second weekend. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Well, at least you don't hide your anger and hatred towards Purdue. |

Normally I think they are bubble NIT so this is a huge improvement. This is the same team as last year minus a key player in Martin. So their bench is thinner, their recruiting class is basically irrelevant and they have some nagging injuries that may prove very bothersome. In addition, your supposed best player can't bench the bar and has never been laid. |

This team actually has a guy that can play the point now. Either Smith or Hart will play and contribute. Martin hurt this team more than he helped last year. Could he have developed into something good? Of course. But last year he shot an abysmal percentage from the floor, 3 line, and FT line. He was never a good defender. Our two biggest wins came with him on the bench. The addition of Jackson, Smith, Hart plus the other 7 guys improving will be MUCH bigger than losing our 8th and 9th guys in our rotation. |

I've got my eyes set on the Elite 8 this year, but I think the Final 4 isn't completely ludicrous. If Calasan and Johnson can learn to play defense in the post, we're gonna be a real hard out. They don't even have to be that productive on the offensive side. They just need to be able to not let us get dominated like Xavier did. Even if our 3-point shots aren't falling, we still don't get very far behind because our defense almost never allows it. But if Calasan gets caught floating to the perimeter on defense or Johnson gets thrown around, a big team can throw it down low and there's little we can do to stop it. If that hole is shorn up, we can compete and beat about any team in the country on about any night of the year. |

We would definitely be big underdogs going into it, but I don't think they're completely out of reach. Look at our game against Florida 2 years ago. I don't think they really even had a close game in the tournament other than us. Painter's defense will keep us in games against pretty much anyone. Unless a bunch of pansy-ass, cupcake-baking, fairy-dancing ACC refs are running the game. Then every time one of our guys glanced at a UNC player there'd be a technical called. Pansy league's forgot there's defense in basketball. |

I'm sorry, I love our team, but UNC with a healthy Hansborough would probably work us over. UCONN scares me also with their size. UCLA lost their two best players and I know they added possibly the best freshmen in the country, but I bet we could compete with them. |

I like the way you guys are thinking. And the fact that UB has upgraded us to a bubble madness team bodes well for our chances. |

I voted Sweet Sixteen as the expectation. Elite Eight should be the team's goal. |
