Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

DEAR G-D let this thing be for real. If it is he should sell it to the Gm and Chrysler and let them be the first to roll out Hydrogen cars. Get American car companies back on top and the economy will follow!

Actually B Town unless they can figure a way for it to run on salt water it is a problem. I realize the exhaust is purified water but with the population growing we will in 15 years have a water shortage. Lake Mead sp is down 100ft. The south is in water conservation mode. Water is becoming more precious by the day believe it or not. That being said if this guy is legit and can use salt water we have something. Because water can change form but we will always have the same amount just can we allow a percentage to be used as fuel for vehicles????????

I sell a water conservation product for irragation systems.

That is how I know about the upcoming water shortage

the way his configuration works, the water is burned, and goes back to the liquid state so you would never lose the water you started out with.

also, i think the way he currently has it, it has to be distilled water..

The real question is his electrolysis process. You can never get something for nothing, so the water isn't the key element in the equation.

That seems to be a concept for introducing HHO into a gas engine and increasing fuel mileage. I think the video was saying it is an engine designed to run HHO, not the other way around.

I just realized that this video is very illustrative of how the MSM can perpetuate ignorance. Notice the one statement about the tip of the torch being "as hot as the surface of the sun." As I suspected earlier, this hoax plays on people's ignorance about the difference between chemical and nuclear reactions. It would be quite funny if it was part of a Saturday night skit, but is quite sad considering how many people can be duped by something this obvious.

Another thing you guys should notice when you see these stories is the fact that the breakthrough technology is currently running in a hybrid vehicle, and some unnamed car company is "very interested." Imagine if there was any truth to this supposed breakthrough. Every energy and transportation company would be beating down this guy's door.

I wouldn't even care too much about frauds like this one, but it adds fuel (figuratively, not literally) to the liberal argument that we can abandon proven energy sources like oil, coal, and nuclear. In the liberal world of fairies and pixie dust (sorry, but my nirvana imagery sucks ass compared to OldSchool's) we can run our energy dependent economy on solar panels, windmills, and water powered engines. And we can travel around being pulled by unicorns that eat grass and shit candy.

Lars,

I do not understand why we do not look into incenerators. You know burning trash and crating steam and getting electicity from that. Removes trash and creates energy seems logical to me but I seem to be the only one with this idea.

Well Lars, I think you finally opened my eyes! What are we doing anyways? Let's just dump alternative energy research and continue to use up fossil fuels. You, sir, are a genius.
