Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

For some reason, links like yours don't work with the [IMG] HTML tags. You can either download the jpeg and then host it on tinypic.com, or simple past the URL:

picture URL

BTW, that is an awesome pic!

EDIT: now I see the pic (used to say "posted image") How did you fix it?

Definitely a great play. I still don't get how IU won that game. Pretty remarkable feat if you ask me. That Duke team was stacked. Goes to show you how far teamwork, tough D, and a savvy bunch can take you.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

DC,

You forget great coaching Dane Fife will never get the credit he deserved for the effort he put in that year

He was leadership that season do I like him no. He and Tom where fiesty competitiors and lead that team

Fife was probably the MVP that year. His D plus improved shooting took them from good to one of the best teams in the country that year.

I didn't mention great coaching because their coach that year was Mike Davis.

It's amazing what slow white guys who can't jump can do with heart and a high bball IQ. (also see Scott Skiles)

actually, once Davis figured out to go inside and crash the boards, Duke had no answer for Jeffries and Jeffrey Blunt Newton

No.... Mike Davis may have had the title of head coach...... But if it weren't for Fife and Coverdale running the show, they never would have gone as far as they did.
