Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Someone posted this IndyStar interview with Pat Knight over on the Rivals message boards. It talks mainly about how Pat misses IU, has pretty much "buried the hatchet," and finds himself rooting for the Hoosiers under Crean.

Pat Knight on IU

I was glad to read his comments. I was never a huge Pat Knight fan while he was at IU but he has my respect for sure/fa sho. I'll never forget on Sr. night when the General almost broke down when he introduced his favorite Hoosier of all time.

He was on JMV in Indy I believe yesterday or the day before. I don't really know what he said, as my dad told me about it, but he said it was a fairly good interview. The only comments my dad said back to me were about Painter/Purdue, so I'm sure none of you really care about that.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Nice article Badg.

I sure missed you around here during the summer. I like having you back posting information on IU.

I think it is only a matter of time before Bobby gets back affiliated with IU again. I bet he and Crean have talked many times already.

It would be awesome to hear how loud a sold-out Assembly Hall would get if RMK was introduced. That would be a long standing ovation.

...that thought gave me chills...

I read in sports illustrated today about a guy that had a heart attack and died minutes after bowling his first 300 game ever.

That would be FallenEmpire if that ever happened :)

At least he would go with a smile on his face!

if anyone has been to a game yet this season, have you guys noticed RMK in the "passion for the past, excitement for the future." video? i think we're getting close to a reconciliation.

Fallen could definitely die a happy man if IU and Bob Knight kissed and made up. IU's got to extend the hand but Knight may be too proud/stubborn to accept.

We'd have to wait three more years to be sure all of the Sampson/Davis infiltrators are not still in the ranks. Knight could be sniped.

P.S.

Bowling isnt really my thing, I just pick the ball up and chuck the god damn thing as hard as I can.
