Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Come on BTOWN I wanted to know about every player and how many three's there gonna shoot.

On a serious note what was this teams record last year?
What's the population of Wyoming, last year?

lol shit like people just know these answers, you PU faithful get me haha. :chug:
15-18.

Its not that hard to find such things. Plus, since its an opponent of yours in what should be a good game, he probably figured people knew.
Your first sentence sums up what I was getting at. And trust me, I'm IU crazy just as much as anyone who thinks they're the most, this game doesn't hold that much significance. If anything, we're just all excited to see our guys play on live tv. I don't think we're all pumped up because our opponent is Northwestern State.

Hopefully it's a good game on our side of the ball, but competition wise even though we're all new, it shouldn't be THAT close. But what's hope worth anymore?
i would contend that this game has a lot of importance. being mostly freshmen, the confidence level of this young team is extremely fragile. the more wins, regardless of who it's against, early in the season the better. winning this game could keep the team on a roll for the time being, losing could be a crushing blow.

If you don't think its going to be THAT close, then I'm sorry. This game is as important as any that IU will play all year. This will show that they are truly made of, which nobody really as an idiea. Don't confuse a Purdue fan with a person that is seeing what is truly going on.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I remember when they beat Iowa that was awesome. I watched that three from the corner over and over on youtube.
