Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

not to stick up for Kentucky or anything, but the other team did shoot the lights out...

49% from the field (35-72)
45% from 3 (14-31)
77% from the free throw (27-35)

Ky on the other hand...

54% from the field (39-72 )
19% from 3 (3-16 )
66% from the free throw (22-33 )

Yeah, but it's more than expected if we lose.

UK and UI fans still find a way to run their mouths even when they suck.

It's expected with us this year... not so much with Kentucky.

On what planet is shooting 49% 'shooting the lights out'? That's simply a good night, but nothing spectacular. 77% from the line is good, but certainly nothing that would make you do any kind of double take...

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

BTW, VMI averaged 91 points per game last year, but before that impresses you: they were 14-16 and play in the Big South. They lost to Dartmouth in last year's opener. They lost their leading scorer, who averaged 28 points/game. Ohio State beat them by 33 points last year.

From the score it's obvious that Gillespie let VMI dictate the style of play, somthing that any coach worth his salt wouldn't let happen. UK outrebounded VMI by 21...and LOST. The Wildcats gave up 47 points in the FIRST NINE AND A HALF MINUTES. They fell behind by 27 in the first half, came back and took the lead with 4 minutes left and then couldn't put them away.
