We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. great article fallen. i sincerely mean that. Although you seem to make blanket statements about the IU student fan base. There's still good fans out here. |

and thats exactly why alumni had to come rescue the program, and guys like mike davis and kelvin sampson arent coaching anymore. verdell had a good game, be patient with these guys. REMINDER: this is the most inexperienced team in Division 1 basketball. you guys were willing to forgive kelvin sampson when the team he assembled couldnt even make the sweet 16 with 3 potential NBA prospects, so i'd expect you to forgive Crean if we dont look like UNC right out of the gate. it will take lots of time and patience. |

thanks tyler =) its nice to receive some positive commentary on it. other than you and sir Bri, it appears people are complaining that im either A) not predicting we win a national title, or B) that kelvin sampson was not glorified enough throughout the article. |

lol. there are still a lot of sampsonites. maybe not as many as before, but even a lot of those who "claim" to hate him were the ones still wearing his stupid fucking tshirt at games after he was fired. the new-student fanbase needs therapy and a pill to forget the last several years. br |

One game over or under .500 that's been my call. I think we'll have to figure out how to block out playing zone in the halfcourt. I do believe Crean should be ashame for bringing a young man to IU that is as lacking of ability as Jobe. He'll easily surpass Larry Richardson as the worst player in IU history. For the record, although it's been a sad road to getting here, there was never going to be a way to part with BK on good terms unless we were going to take Pat Knight as the next coach of IU. "no thanks" |

I am gonna go out on a limb and say that IU will get the most amount of national press ever for an under .500 team. Bad press is better than no press, and IU will be back. Of that I have no doubt. |

And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed Meat is Murder. Sweet, delicious murder. | |

Without a doubt. IU is going to get lots of attention. It is, after all, college basketballs most explosive program, and the media will be all over Crean and how is he doing in the never-ending saga of bringing IU back to prominence. I think after we get our guys this year a year of experience, couple with next years class, we could be NIT bound as soon as next year. After that, its a matter of time before we are back in the relevant post-season. |
