Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

You can't call it a preview unless you predict place in conference and statistical leaders. Who you think will transfer. Even though I agree with most things you say, you have to let the past be the past and remember it accordingly and move on.

Here are some of my predictions:

Jobe is and will be the worst player in the history of IU
Story then Jones will transfer
Williams eventual role with IU will be as a AJ Moye player
No one on this years team will start next year except possibly Pritchard, but not for long.
Dumes looks like P Diddy

-Agree with you on Story. I don't see his role on this team much past this season. The fact that he isn't from anywhere even close to Bloomington, in my mind, makes him the most likely candidate for a transfer.

-Disagree with Jones, however. I think he'll stick around and will be a very good 4-year player for us. He will be key next year for guard depth (Rivers, Dumes, Jones, and Creek.) Roth's playing time will decrease and I could easily see a guy like Jordan Hulls redshirting. Danny Moore will win us some games in his IU career as well.

-Agree that Williams will be a "glue guy".

-Jobe is what he is...A body. An emergency pick-up 7-footer to come in, alter some shots, give Pritchard some rest, and pick up 3-5 fouls per game.(aka a poor man's George Leach...yikes)

-Dumes is a legit Big Ten guard

-Pritchard will be one of the best players in the Big Ten by his senior year. When I see Pritchard, I see a kid, that with experience and a DJ White-like change in mentality, has the size and skill to be our own Luke Harangody. It's up to him and the coaching staff to make that happen...but mostly Pritchard himself.

One thing's for sure. In 2 to 3 years, this team will have LOTS of interchangable parts....and I'm excited as hell about that.

I'd go along with just about every prediction you made, except for that I'd be surprised to see anyone transfer. The most likely candidate to transfer would be Story, but I doubt it. Also, Jobe may be the worst player in IU history in terms of skill, but my least favorite (and thus worst) player of all time is DeAndre Thomas. That fat lard was terrible, and at least Jobe is a nice guy.

Cem Dinc?
He is actually on the Turkish National team with NBA players Hedo Turkoglu and Mehmet Okurs. He also plays at another Division 1 school (Harvard).

Jobe is big, and thats about it. His connection to the same agency that dealt with Negedu and IU needing to field a team are probably the only reasons he is a D1 athlete. The guy averaged 3 and 3 in JUCO ball.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I am secretly hoping that Jobe has been faking it and will suddenly blossom into another Greg Oden...yeah...

Jones is the super skinny light skinned kid from Indy. He was probably nervous but seemed to have a hard time dribbling the ball and being composed. Roth is the white kid that can shoot. Then you have the broken nosed twins one is Finkemier and the other I don't know who he is

Jobe is the walking Giant
Taber is the guy that is really trying and Pritchard is the other tall white guy looming around the basketball to miss a layup get his own board miss again and then make it. He gets two points and two boards every time he touches it.

Story is the athletic one and Dumes might have some Potential. Then you played some other people I had never before heard of

Jones is from Illinois. Dumes is from Indy. I know Dumes wears 33, don't know about anyone else.
