Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

He's the next Luke Harangody right?
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

i think unbiased is right by default
i don't see any other of our scrubs grabbing rebounds during the regular season, so if he averages 10 rebounds a game I wouldn't be suprised, half of them are his missed layups anyways.
and i use the term 'scrubs' affectionately

What is the all-time double-double record?

double double in first college game.
And DJ White had 4 points and 2 rebounds in his first game.

Pritch will be a good player for 4 years. He'll probably play more minutes this year than any of the next 3, but he'll be a solid player for IU and help win plenty of games.

hey Paint Chips - I just saw Turdue's schedule - what a fucking joke.

looks like DoorMatt has gone the Coach Cheaty route and schedule cupcake after cupcake to artificially inflate his win totals

i find it unlikely he will average a double double this year. although he will probably lead us in rebounding, he is going to get outrebounded against bigger teams...which is going to be just about every team we play. its possible though. i would be willing to bet my enitre stock of winter ale though that if he remains a four year player, its possibly towards his 3rd or 4th year with us he could average a double double for a season. he is very rugged and tenacious.

He is going to have to stay out of foul trouble. Teams are gonna know IU has no depth inside and are gonna go inside on them alot in the early parts of games to try to get them in foul trouble. If i remember right he had 2 fouls in the first 5 min of the NW ST game.

If I were Crean, I would tell Jobe NOT to go for blocked shots. I would tell him to just stand there with his arms up and make guys try to shoot over him.

Considering how you drink, that can't be much ;)

So you're betting your entire stock of Winter Ale on something that can't be decided for 4 years? Hmm..... I don't really have a need for empty bottles. It's too early for me to make a prediction on Pritchard anyway. He impressed me, but I think he'd foul out playing a decent big man.

I guess we will find out next game when he plays against the "real Luke Harangody". God I think the trip to Maui is going to be ugly. It just sucks that we finally get into that tournament when we have the worst team we have had in years.
