Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Wow. I've been a little critical of our team lately, saying they don't look as sharp/good/whatever as I'd like. But after watching the first half of that game, I feel so much better about who we are and how we're playing. I think there were 23ish turnovers in the first half, and probably 10 missed layups. It's some of the sloppiest basketball I've ever seen. And Memphis is ranked 12! I seriously can't watch the second half, I'm losing respect for the college game. Just awful...

November basketball man. It is like this every year. November games are forgotten and you remember the first round games in March. Then November comes and it all looks sloppy. Purdue last year really improved once the calendar hit Jan. It will come in time. Duke game should be intense and focused for 40 minutes. Look at tonight's game first five minutes we didn't show up. Still scored 42 in the first half. Came out of the half on fire we scored i think 18 points in the first five minutes of the second half. Then lost focus and regained it. These early season games lack intensity and working the freshmen into the fold. LewJack was sick tonight if he can stay at that level consistently and improve as the players get use to his game he will really improve as the season goes on. I think he could give us spurtability in a close game because he is such a change of pace player and can drive and dish so well. Maybe he was a 3 star but he impressed tonight.

My friend kept saying how impressed he's been with LewJack tonight. Watching him make some of his drives, cuts, and passes, it really is exciting for how much difference that can make as the year goes on. He had a few great drives in the second half while we were sputtering, was a great energy-provider. And we all know of his ability to find the open man and make the pass.

But nonetheless, 23 turnovers in one half in that game?!? We might have a few sloppy/off moments with it being November, but that was just disgusting. You really should have seen it. Makes me so happy I'm a Boiler fan and my program plays the game well, with great fundamentals and intense defense. I guess I forgot how awful basketball can look when the coach rounds up as many pro prospects as he can find/buy and tells them, "Go!"

haha if November ball is sloppy, then Purdue will be in the negative turnover range come March. Seriously, those kids can take care of the ball and make something happen.

We can't rebound so we can't afford to turn it over. luckily we can shoot lights out for 75% of the game the other ten minutes gets a little scary

lewjackoff couldn't shoot the ball into the ocean if he was sitting on the beach.

IU is just fine at guard. they need height not midgets.

Jackoff was not a priority for IU given his lowly academics, 5 foot height and inability to shoot the ball. Turdue can have him.

Keep drinking the GBI koolaid

called priorities and jackoff wasn't one of them.

shit - when your entire roster leaves and the top 2 recruits (both far superior to jackoff) back off, you have to get bodies on your team. :owned:
