Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

ok, but she has had a successful career thus far, and is well like in her state. I wouldn't call that a joke or a loser, just because you don't like her.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

In that interview, when she said she was thankful her son's striker brigade was safe, I heard "I'm so thankful my son, Striker Brigade, is safe," and thought she had named one of her kids that.

Easy now Chops his Brigade is the one I went to Iraq with I have a few friends in that brigade. Stryker is how it is spelled it refers to the vehicle type they use. Stryker Brigades are the most effective Brigades in Iraq.

The vehicle is an amazing vehicle to fight from.

name the last republican who turned out those kinds of crowds, raised that kind of money, and scared the democrats as much as Palin did? You know I like her, but I could name 3 or 4 candidates who I would rather see as President than her, but that doesn't change the excitement that I saw her create.

she sure didn't scare me. sure, it raised my hatred for the neo-cons, but i thought palin was the best pick for VP....for the dems. she single-handedly lost the election for mccain. she became the biggest joke of a VP candidate we've seen in my lifetime since quayle. she's not fit for her own governorship yet the republicans overlooked everything that you're supposed to look for in a candidate. if i was a conservative, i'd be more than pissed. those that believe she was fit for the position are delirious and in the highest form of denial i've ever witnessed in the political world.

I say that he is someone who knows how long ago dinosaurs lived and someone who would not lead a national political party into oblivion should he be given the reins.

Keep drinking the Palin Kool-Aid, no matter how bitter it is. That aftertaste you're getting is called failure.

Strange strange strange woman she is.
Ok, Palin is Pro-Life, and that really pisses you guys off. We get it, already.
Where did that come from? I don't care if she's pro-life. Lots of people are pro-life. It's just not what I believe.

It's strange because someone asked her if she wanted to keep that background and she said, "Sure". I don't care what you think of her, it is definitely weird to have Turkeys being slaughtered behind you while you're taking questions from reporters.
If Palin was Pro-Choice, women's groups would have loved her, she would have been doing the talk-show circuit, and the MSM would have taught you about her success as a bball player, mother, mayor, and governor. In short, she would have be hailed as a successful role model for girls and women everywhere.

But since she is Pro-Life, and a threat to the chosen one, The Messiah, she was ridiculed and ravaged by the MSM. What a sad commentary about America these days....
Moot point at its base. If she were Pro-Choice, she wouldn't have been picked.

Ask Kaye Bailey Hutchinson, an infinitely more qualified republican governor.

And while you hail on about the 'Messiah,' you and aaron continue to treat Palin like the Virgin Mary.

Brum,

For one Kaye Bailey Hutchinson is a Senator and kinda pro-life. I forgot what the isssue was but she was not 100% prolife but was acceptable. The problem was she is too old. She hasn't had to camp real hard to win in Texas and she was not up for the schedule the VP would need to meet. She is in her mid to late 60's 65b to be exact. That is a problem in the party repubs are just old

She basically said no

E Dole was to old also

Hutchison is a senator, but she is not pro-life. She has expressed that abortion should not be made illegal and agrees with the Roe v. Wade decision.

No offense Aaron, but she didn't just scare Democrats, she scared the entire middle ground of voters. The people that were riled up were not the ones that decide elections.
