Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

DJ impressed me more than any IU player has since Calbert Cheaney. His boycott was simply a bluff. He knew that the players threatened to boycott if Davis didn't get promoted in 2000, and he was certain that it would work again about firing Sanctions. It didn't work.

After that, he played his heart out, while everyone else quit.

If you're an IU fan and don't like DJ White, you have issues. Period. I don't really even think Purdue fans dislike the kid.
never had a problem with him until he lead the team into a mutiny against a former IU legend and the school itself. he went through a lot, but doing that is inexcusable and grounds for treachery on the highest level. if your a sampson loyalist though you probably would be enamored with him.
Legend? I think your pushing it there fallen.
Know your history Dan shit down Micheal Jordan played within the system and his time as a player never the best on the tea but gave it everything he had and was what IU basketball use to be about. He was about IU and winning played unselfish ball and put the school and team first. DJ playe dwith heart but it appeared he put Sampson above IU basketball that is what Fallen is talking about. I never liked RMK but players never where bigger than the program
Wow...a Boiler with some exceptional IU lore knowledge! I am impressed!

Im pretty sure theres a general consensus that Dakich is something of a legend. Shutting down MJ the way he did was big, big, big. And he did embody what IU basketball is about...playing your ass off no matter what your win/loss is, how many minutes you get, stats, or whatever. Erek Surh was a lot like that, for you young guys that werent around for the glory days.
My family DR until I was 11 was the IU team DR
