Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I like what Moore does, he may not be the best player, but he at least makes something happen. I'm not a big fan of Jones, but in time he can be something. McAlarney is money. We just need to finish better, shots here and there and this game isnt bad.

Anybody else think Crean looks a like Tom Arnold in the polo shirt?

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

The guy that has been the most disappointing to me so far this season is Jones...but when he learns how to finish or draw the foul, he'll be alright.
No chance. To me, Pritchard has been a pleasant surprise. Verdell Jones has been a big disappointment. He plays selfishly, has very little quickness, and doesn't seem to have the ability to knock down the outside shot. I think he is probably the number one candidate for a transfer next year with Hulls and Creek coming in. He's been outplayed by Moore so far this year. I don't see much PT for him in the future unless he improves a lot this season.

I can see that, Ben. And tonight Krean learned what it felt like to be Arnold when Roseanne went on an angry, drunken rampage.

The IU kids played hard as I'm sure they will all year. The IU fans turned out in force and were very enthusiastic, cheering at every opportunity. I think the loudest came when Krispy shoved three donuts in his mouth at the same time.

Yeah, coming from Bobo, that was pretty lame. On to the game.......

I agree with everyone about Jones. Looks like he just runs into the middle of the lane with at least 2 defenders around and chucks it up. Hello, you're the PG, when you're double-teamed, someone must be open to some extent.

On a bright note, and I only saw the first half, but I think Pritchard could be pretty damn solid if he does a few things over the years...

1. Learn to finish around the basket. If you can't finish, you can't play down low. And I think in time, he'll be more effective doing so.

2. Develop a mid range game. Now, I only saw the first half, but he has one of the best pump fakes I've seen in a while. Harangody and the rest were jumping in the air at Tom's will it seemed. Eventually they're just going to drop off and make him shoot it. The one outside shot that he had was VERY flat. Even my buddy who watches very little bball pointed that out. However, if he can start hitting that shot, then his pump fake will become even more deceptive. Then once he learns how to finish, I think he could be a staple as our PF for many, many years to come!!!

Brian your analytical analysis through our young Hoosiers' beating tells me you're also becoming truly optimistic about this Crean guy ;)
