Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I know I might get some shit for this, but I'm going to say it anyway. I watched the UAB/Oklahoma game last night and I have to say UAB impressed me. They looked good, like a legit tournament team. They held their own and Oklahoma only really pulled away the final minutes, the game was closer than the score would indicate. They played tough defense, forced turnovers and capitalized on them on the break. They played pretty good offense, good passing and took good shots. The players hustled, too, and Davis was up pacing around and was really animated. I've said from day one UAB is a great fit and I think he can do well there. They looked solid last night. Just sharing a tought, since apparently some of you still hate him. Fire away.

I know he will but I'm sticking to my guns on this one. There's still a lot of hostility towards Davis I just don't get, and he's doing better with UAB than his haters thought he would or would like to admit.

I agree completely. Mike Davis is perfect coaching in the state of Alabama. Not like any of his recruits he brought in were from that state or anything... ;)

And you know, EVERYONE has given a lot of shit to Vaden. Yes, he didn't come to Indiana because it's Indiana. Then again, no recruits the past ten years or so came because of the name (until now). But you have to give the guy some credit. Losing your dad at a young age is very difficult, and if Mike Davis is like a dad to him as well as his coach, it only made sense to go with him to UAB. It's better than him going out and getting in trouble with drugs or anything else. So good for Robert Vaden too. You guys can bash him, but you can't blame him for the decision he made.

Yeah, thank goodness Davis has kept him out of trouble.

Ok so even though Davis has been gone for almost three years its ok for someone to bring up some obscure quote of his to bash him on or make fun of him for the fact that he lost a big recruit. But then if someone says something else positive about him its a big deal. Wish I had never posted this. Sorry for trying to say something nice about evil old Mike Davis. Jesus fucking christ guys.....

Do you honestly think Davis holds his hand where ever he goes? I highly doubt Mike Davis was in Bloomington October 14, 2008 with Vaden. Roberts got a lot of friends and family by B-Town.... like a public intox is something new.

Sampson ruined us... Donkey just couldn't coach at IU. Now that he's successful in Alabama, as well as RV, you guys still are sour.

It's pretty ridiculous but I'm sure they don't care... they both will make more than anyone on this board I'm sure.
