Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I am watching the UT/ G-Town game and I absolutely hate Pearl's offense. It is basically the exact same as Sampson's. The past 7 possessions have been a lot of standing around and a lot of isolation plays. absolutely pathetic.

I watched the Memphis/Tennessee game last year when they were number 1 and 2. That was the most overhyped game maybe ever. It sucked. It was shitty, sloppy basketball. Thug ball back and forth. All those two teams were last year were a couple of NBA teams with talent lesser than an NBA team.

I somewhat agree. I like Crean a lot better than Pearl mainly because Crean seems to go after high IQ players while Pearl has been going after athleticism and just letting them play. I think Pearl can coach, but he just seems to recruit players that will never work in a structured offense.

I stayed up to watch the Baylor/Providence game in the 76 Classic out in Anaheim. You want to talk about sloppy play? This game was unbelievable. Neither team was setting up offensive plays or sets and were just running and gunning the ball. Some of the shots taken in this game would drive a coach insane. I know neither one of these teams will be heavy contenders in anything, but I just wanted to mention how sloppy of a game they were playing. Both are potentinal tournament teams too.

i agree. even though i like pearl, i'm not a big fan of the clientele he brings on his teams. i have a friend that goes to UT and he says because UT has no academic requirements whatsoever, that the football and basketball teams are out of control. i'm glad we don't have that at IU.

...from the start let me just say that i'm extremely happy that Crean is our coach and could not be happier with what he's done and what he stands for...but i've made it clear on here that Pearl was my #1 choice...i've been a fan of his for as long as i can remember and he been winning non-stop since then...and to top all of that off his programs have always been clean...

...so i can't argue with the man's accomplishments...and frankly don't see how anyone else can either...
