Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

that hit looked vicious. I really hope he can recover from that. That is one of the few times I have seen a stretcher in a basketball game.

Yeah, I agree, even though I didn't think it looked THAT bad. But it definitely looked odd to see a guy knocked out cold on a bball court.

From the sideline report, just sounded like they wanted to be cautious. They said he was moving his extremities.

This is his calling for getting bigger. 6'5 and only 175, that's pretty vulnerable for injury I think.

And he's put on 20 pounds since he's been on campus. Some guys just aren't physical players.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

he's definitely the shining example of that. but it's one thing to not be physical..and it's another thing to be a turdue twig. right now, jones is a turdue twig. he needs a lot of work in the weight room and cafeteria.

Pretty amazing how some guys come into college weighing too much (Dexter Pittman of Texas, Pierre Niles of Memphis, and Joevan Catron of Oregon) and some guys come in not weighing enough (Jones and Hummel).

Hahaha, of course. Here's what Blake Griffin had to say about the turdue twigs:

"Yeah that was the most physical anyone's been, I'd say," a smirking Griffin said.

Hummel didn't weigh enough? I'd say JuJuan Johnson was the one who didn't weigh enough. I think Hummel was a pretty good size last year for what he was asked to do.

I thought you posted that he gained 20 pounds over the summer. He's 208 lbs right now, so he would have been in the 180s last season. For a guy that is 6'8", that is too light. And yeah, JaJaun Johnson is another perfect example.
