Martin got rejected on turn-around jumpers and put-backs more than anyone I remember ever seeing. IMO, he was not our best post player at all. Did he have potential to be one? Sure. But for whatever reason (lack of strength or desire), he was always weak with his post moves. |

exactly. Scottie Piippen Homely would become Matt Quiefer if he dumped Turdue for another school. |

ummm...no. Martin was the seventh man on a 25-9 team before he transferred. He was the least productive of the four freshman. Could be because of his injury or it could be that he wasn't happy with his role, but was typically a non-factor when it came to wins and losses. He was arguably the team's best player during the preseason, but once the real season started he fell off the radar...much like IU's entire team (minus White). |

interesting sour grapes there. Martin averaged more pts, rebounds, assists, steals, points/minute than Jew Jew. Jew Jew was easily the worst of the 4 freshman. |

You must not have watched the game because if you did and knew anything about basketball then you would of realized that all Martin tried to do was go one on one all night and that isn't even close to what Purdue's offense is supposed to be. He took Purdue out of their comfort zone and constantly gave up baskets on the defensive end. |

Martin's numbers were better than Johnson's because of the preseason. Compare their numbers in January-March and see what ya come up with. No sour grapes here. Playing at Purdue wasn't like he had invisioned so he left. Good thing is that defense is optional when playing for the Gomers so he should be fine. |
