I don't think so, your program doesn't take into account the Chuck factor. |

I would like to see those predictions hold up. Looks like a lot of loses for the SEC. It's been 2 days and I am already sick of listening to the homers down here talk about how if Oklahoma would have played in the SEC this year they would have had 3 or 4 loses. That coming from fans of a conference that has 2 teams that are legit top 15, 2 that are top 25, and the rest - garbage. |

Whooptie freakin do. If his greatest accomplishment is beating Purdue, he will still be looking for work next December. |

Take it easy Eel. It's all in good fun. And you are right. If beating Purdue is your greatest accomplishment...well, you haven't accomplished much. :P |

As 7 football teams other than Notre Dame can attest. I will have to say ND is the worst team we lost to this year. |

I think this game is going to be decided by the defenses. Both teams are going to score, but the first team to have a defensive breakdown will lose. I have not seen enough Florida this year to see if they can push through the Oklahoma O-Line, and the only time OU played against a good D (Texas) they lost. OU's D is good, but not great. I think this will be a game with both teams in the 40's. OU is worse than Ohio State in bowl games of late though. My pic ( a bit homerish I admit) OU 49 - FL 41 |

Personally, I like OU's chances. Everybody makes a big deal about SEC defenses, but i watched a lot of SEC football this year and believe me, those great defensive stats are due at least in part to the mediocre at best offensive efforts put forth by many of the SEC teams this year. I mean look at Florida's schedule. It isn't like it is chock full of offensive juggernauts. Plus, I think OU's defense is better than they get credit for. I have watched a number of their games this year, and it seems to me that most of the yards and points that OU is giving up come later on in the second half after they are up big and have started to lose focus. The Big 12 Champ game is a perfect example of that. Bottom line is, I think OU wins a close one, though it would give me great pleasure to see them hand Florida a double digit beatdown.
