Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Both former Purdue QBs play against each other tonight. Hopefully, there is decent weather tonight so we can see both QBs put up some numbers. It should be a good game.

The reason I bring this up is because we have two QBs starting in the NFL, and before this past season, Painter was a near lock to be drafted (who knows now), and yet we have struggled recruiting a big name QB coming out of HS. I feel like we've done a poor job of selling the successes of our players at both QB and DE at the NFL level to recruits. A couple of the DE prospects for this year have mentioned it, but I haven't heard much in the past, and I've never really heard it from our QB prospects. I'm thinking Hope is going to do a better job of selling a pretty solid track record of getting players to the NFL.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

He's had a pretty solid season, nothing great, but the Bears front offense isn't doing him any favors. His starting WRs are Rashied Davis and Brandon Lloyd. He's throwing to a bunch of #3 WRs.

I said solid, not great, especially when you take into consideration that none of his WRs should be starters in the NFL.

Orton's real strength is having a 5 INT god awful game, then going out to get completely plastered and act like an irresponsible asshole.

Chicagos defense isn't what it used to be either. Orton has the ability to not lose a game and that is what is asked of him. Trent Dilfer was the same way in Baltimore and they won a S.B. Chicago should have started Orton against the COlts. They would of had a better chance a couople years ago.

And still he put up the 12th best numbers last week in my fantasy footbal league. Go figure. Sounds solid to me.

Seasons of 43 and 48 catches aren't the stats of a #1 WR, or even a #2 WR, he's a #3. Greg Olsen is a solid TE, and Matt Forte is a good RB, Devin Hester is a #3 WR.

Its hard to produce in the passing game when you have one weapon in the passing game, and a bunch of backups everywhere else. I didn't mention Forte because he is a RB.

RBs catch passes fool

i believe he is the leading receiver

and knowing ortons passing limits, its no wonder

hes awful, quite trying to justify it by throwing the receivers under the bus
