| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! ![]() "Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed Meat is Murder. Sweet, delicious murder. | |

Who here has ever claimed that Purdue has a better basketball tradition than IU? |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

We aren't on there. Whats your point, besides continuing to be obsessed? |

well I hear everyday from you manure sniffers how great and dominant your program is. I just thought it would translate into those rankings. Guess not. |

As delusional as ever today I see. Link where any of us called our program "great and dominant". |

All I said was that Purdue has dominated the head-to-head series...unless you opt to cherrry-pick the games to your liking. |

They don't care about the last 15 years either. You'd better put premium in your time-machine today. LMAO What the Hoosiers don’t have is a recent résumé comparable to the rest of its storied history. Just one Final Four since 1993. One Big Ten title since 1994. NCAA tournament misses in 2004 and 2005, their first since the mid-80s. |

actually they do. They lowered IU to 6th because of this decade. the last 15 years cost IU probably at least 2 spots |

That's like saying the last week moved Rod Blagojevich down a couple of spots on the Illinois all-time best governor list. |

not really. IU's elite ranking should take a hit because of the past 10-15 years. 6th is about what they deserve right now |

Agreed. If you go back 10-15 years, IU beats Duke and Kansas too. |
