Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I remember that also. I was pissed for days. Blew up my bracket horribly.

It still does not change the fact that these two contemporaries were fairly evenly matched.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Okay, Biased, I'll give you a chance to present your case here. Please list IU's best win away from AssHall in the 06-07 season.

Purdue's were over #14 Arizona and fourth-place Iowa.

IU's?

judging individuals game merits is highly subjective. UM beat Duke and UCLA and might end up 7th in the BT but those 2 non-conference wins might be the best the league has all year - does that make them them the best team??

stupid

and Arizona? laughable - quit acting like they were some #1 seed - they were an 8th.

here are the fact:

IU destroyed turdue head to head - winning by 28 even though they pulled the starters midway thru the second half. Turdue beat IU by 13. Point to IU

IU finished higher and won more BT games. Another Point to IU

IU had a higher RPI. Another point to IU

IU had the higher NCAA seed. Another Point to IU

you are thoroughly destroyed.

Iowa? Arizona?

can't stop laughing at Arizona.

they were a 7 or 8 seed. who gives a fuck what some meaningless poll said - they absolutely sucked at the end of the year and the NCAA noticed it.

hell I don't know what it was. All I know is IU won more games, pounded turdue head to head, had a higher NCAA seed and higher RPI. you can spin the schedules however you want.

I do know IU beat #2 wiz at home. better than any turdue win home or away.

corkys like you when owned start the 'home or away' argument. who gives 2 shits? beating a team is beating a team

Translation: IU's best win away from home was at Penn State...or maybe 10th seed Gonzaga who was missing it's best player. Damn Vision has destroyed me yet again.

So since individual games don't matter, why did Purdue win more games than IU last year? Please explain your spin...

IU Basketball is turning into ND football. Storied past, but recent history is somewhat lame, but all the fans are still holding on and spouting their dominance.

Disregard this guy for a little bit. He will learn that there are some good IU fans on this board and really none of them are comparable to ND football fans.

I don't know...they seem pretty dominance spouty to me. ;) However, that being said.. I like IU basketball. I have no such fondness for ND football.
