Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Well, don't take credit for playing ND or traveling to Wake if thats the case.
fine - IU played Gonzaga, at UK

And thats supposed to be impressive? UK is horrid. Gonzaga is good.
UK = NIT team, at best.

Purdue is responsible for scheduling itself in the Preseason NIT, hence they were EXPECTING to play three or more quality opponents. The field didn't turn out to be as strong as advertised and Purdue only had to beat Boston College to get to the final game. Duke may have been "happenstance" but it was a game Purdue scheduled around.

Davidson on a neutral court is tougher than UK at corRUPPt Arena.

But having said all that, I don't think Painter planned on all these 30 point wins. He was expecting to get 15-20 point wins and work on different things and see what our weaknesses are. But the wins have been too easy, and we've only had three games that showed our weaknesses at all (BC, OU, and Duke). I expect our schedule to be a lot tougher next year.

UK has lost 50 games there in the last 60-70 years and has a winning % at Rupp of almost 90%. Davidson?  some tea toddling D2 school in Caroilina vs possibly the top program alltime?

UK would wax turdue at Rupp.

Comparing a poorly coached team that SHOULD have been in the NIT, to a well-coached team that came one basket short of the Final Four.

This based on what has happened 60-70 years ago. Wow. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

again - you said Davidson on a neutral court vs AT RUPP. dummy.

UK at RUPP is a completely different team. quit acting like Davidson is some world champ. they got hot at the right time last year and that was last year. they lost key players from that team. UKKK has almost everyone back + top recruits. they would smoke turdue at Rupp.

davidson? LMFAO

This isn't Pitino's UK teams. Gardener Webb, San Diego, and VMI have beat UK at Rupp the past two years.

UK is not anywhere near as good as Davidson.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

UK was not ranked
Who cares about Rupp honestly, like it would have made a huge difference if it was played as Ass Hall

Its quite humorous how much you praise every team that IU plays. UK is not the elite team that they used to be. Not right now.
