Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Win a national championship this year with our Boiler team? I think that if we play as a team WE COULD!!!!

We have the best defender in the country (Kramer) and one of the best all-around players in the country (Hummel) with some great balance around them.

I think that if we keep improving everyday, we could be the team to beat come tourney time, and when it's all said and done, cutting down the nets!!!!!!

Man, I thought this douchebag already made enough of an ass of herself last winter.

Good thing is that UB's alter ego seems to be the best at predicting Purdue basketball games. Place your bets, gamblers.

IBuild, it's good to see you are optimistic about this season. Frankly, Purdue's play has been less than stellar so far, and I'm a bit concerned.

Rumor has it that you have been known to make some good investing decisions. SLW has been a great stock the last few weeks. Are you still buying more at $5, or would you be patient for a pullback?

I don't know-we have to get past the dominate force that is IU. They are probably going to win the B10 hands down this year. I don't think we can compete w/ them at all on any level. IU will be cutting down the nets this year

I'm pretty sure every IU fan is aware of how bad our team is and no one has said we'd even compete in the Big Ten.

IBuild is a notorious Purdue homer, and BoilerUpAT is just being his alter ego. Yes we all know IU is pathetic and sucks this year, and we're trying not to rub it in.

Its a response to the troll. Whoever the person is has been doing this for a year or so. He calls himself a Purdue fan, but makes wildly outrageous claims and is an overall idiot.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

:trolls:
Actually I have been, amongst other venue in my day, and I think Mackey has the best homecourt advantage in the country. No one can compete with the intensity that the Paint Crew brings to each and every game!

And I don't know why people act like it's a cow college. We have not only a terrific city, a picturesque campus, but some of the most amazingly beautiful girls on the face of the planet.

Boiler Up

Hail Purdue

Indeed. This may prove that there are TWO Indiana fans with such a Purdue obsession, rather than just one.

As mentioned before, Furnace was by far the best predictor last year. He accurately picked Purdue to sweep Wisconsin and finish ahead of IU in the Big Ten standings.

We didn't quite get the #4 seed that he predicted, but his calls were definitely much closer than the rest of ours.
